01Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using IRCTC Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
  • If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
  • Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

02Service Description

  • IRCTC Connect provides APIs and developer tools that aggregate and process railway-related information.
  • Access to the service does not grant ownership of any data, software, infrastructure, documentation, or intellectual property.

03API License

  • IRCTC Connect grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the API.
  • The license is governed by your active subscription plan and these Terms.
  • All rights not expressly granted are reserved by IRCTC Connect.

04API Key Security

  • API keys are issued to a single account and must remain confidential.
  • API keys may not be shared, transferred, sold, leased, sublicensed, or provided to any third party.
  • Users are responsible for all activity performed using their API keys.
  • Users must immediately notify IRCTC Connect if they suspect unauthorized access.

05Prohibited Uses

  • Reselling API access or API responses.
  • Redistributing API data to third parties.
  • Creating a competing railway API service.
  • Providing API responses as a standalone product.
  • Sharing API keys with clients, partners, or other organizations.
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits.
  • Circumventing quotas, authentication systems, or rate limits.
  • Reverse engineering platform functionality.
  • Using the service for unlawful purposes.

06Data Storage Restrictions

  • Users may not copy, export, scrape, mirror, archive, or permanently store substantial portions of IRCTC Connect data.
  • Users may not build independent databases using IRCTC Connect data.
  • Users may not create historical datasets, analytics warehouses, or commercial repositories derived primarily from IRCTC Connect data.
  • Temporary caching for application functionality is permitted when necessary.
  • Stored data may not be redistributed, resold, or exposed through another service.

07Commercial Usage

  • Commercial use is permitted only under an active subscription.
  • All restrictions in these Terms apply to both free and paid usage.
  • Misuse may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

08Rate Limits and Fair Usage

  • All plans are subject to rate limits, quotas, and fair usage policies.
  • Limits may be enforced per API key, per account, or per IP range.
  • Excessive usage may result in throttling, suspension, or termination.

09Security and Suspicious Activity

  • IRCTC Connect may monitor API activity to maintain platform security.
  • Any suspicious, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized activity may result in immediate suspension or termination.
  • Suspicious activity includes unusual request patterns, credential sharing, scraping, quota abuse, automated account creation, resale attempts, and security violations.
  • Users may be asked to provide additional verification during investigations.
  • IRCTC Connect reserves the sole right to determine whether activity is suspicious or abusive.

10Account Suspension and Termination

  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
  • Termination may occur due to key sharing, resale, abuse, data extraction, suspicious activity, or violations of these Terms.
  • All licenses granted under these Terms immediately cease upon termination.
  • Associated API keys, IP addresses, applications, and organizations may also be blocked.

11Payments and Refunds

  • All payments are final.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • Unused API requests or credits are non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be issued for account suspensions resulting from policy violations.
  • Chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes may result in immediate account termination.
  • Users are responsible for evaluating the service before purchase.

12Service Availability

  • IRCTC Connect does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • Maintenance, outages, upgrades, or third-party failures may affect service.
  • Service-level commitments, if any, are described separately in your plan.

13Intellectual Property

  • All software, branding, APIs, and documentation are owned by IRCTC Connect.
  • Infrastructure, logos, designs, and platform components are also included.
  • No transfer of ownership is implied by use of the Service.

14Disclaimer

  • The service is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis.
  • IRCTC Connect disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability of any information.

15Limitation of Liability

  • IRCTC Connect is not liable for direct or indirect damages.
  • This includes incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
  • This limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16Changes to Terms

  • IRCTC Connect may modify these Terms at any time.
  • Updates will be reflected by revising the 'lastUpdated' value.
  • Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of India.
  • Mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction still apply where required.
